Collaborative Projects

Diatoms; Dr Allan Prescott, Wellcome Trust, University of Dundee 2010. Exhibition of drawings developed from having access to a scanning electron microscope.
The exhibition was also shown at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.2010


Rising Tide Orkney Dr Sue Dawson University of Dundee and Caroline Wickham- Jones, Archaeology, Aberdeen University 2010
Funded by the RSA William Littlejohn Award, A residency in Orkney visiting the sites being researched by The Rising Tide Project which is investigating past sea-level change and the submerged landscape of Orkney.

Capsella; Dr Pietro Iannetta, and Professor Geoff Squire, Wenni Deng CECHR PhD student. James Hutton Institute 2011
Project examining the resilience of the Capsella Bursa Pastoris plant, involved growing specimens and recording their progress. Using images from research in a series of paintings.
Exhibition in the Lamb gallery Dundee University funded by CECHR

Beans on Toast Project CREW

Painting Workshops related to aerial landscapes of the Carse of Gowrie
Children and adults worked as a group to complete a large scale painting for the Living Field Centre.

Melt 2013
Fieldwork in Iceland recording the glacier at Virkisjokull in collaboration with BGS researchers.

Montrose Bay (an Imagining Natural Scotland project, funded by Creative Scotland)
Dr Fraser Milne and Tracey Dixon, School of the Environment, University of Dundee.
The project explored how the visual arts and public engagement can influence understanding in the local
Community of the dramatic coastal changes and environmental risk at Montrose Bay.
5000 years of agricultural plants.(Living Field, James Hutton institute)
Commission to create drawings for an e book and to illustrate the web site for The Living Field Garden.
